Well we just finished a game which will forever be known as “The War of Attrition”
Early game I was solo-ing top, I underestimated Lee Sin on the other team and fed 1-8. Needless to say I was disheartened because my jungler was afk for the entire game and Lee Sin was going off and disheartening the others. Chris and I tried to surrender 21 minutes in but the others refused.
After a while of trying to fight them off and taking them in team fights we got pushed all the way to our base and they took all 3 inhibitors. Defeat looked almost certain until we adopted a defensive position and didn’t even attempt a push.
Again and again they attempted to break through our lines and time and time again we fucked them up.
By the end their one person who was doing well had given up and gone afk, and by 1 hour and 6 minutes in we had finished our builds and I decided to go for a heroic one man lane push. The rest of the team ran/teleported up and we absolutely destroyed them in seconds.
1/8 became 26/12
4v5 and we crushed them utterly.
